About Me

"Mom!  Have you seen my baseball glove?"

"Mom, did you happen to wash any jeans last night?"

"Mom, I need some lunch money. ""

This is how my day usually starts.  The morning hustle and bustle of getting four teenagers off to school can be exhausting, and it usually doesn't end after they are out the door.  Most likely I will get a text from someone saying they forgot something or need something before the end of the day.  Most evenings, I can be found in the bleachers of a high school baseball, basketball or football game.  Being my kids' mom and husband's wife is probably the most demanding and rewarding job I have ever had, but I wouldn't trade any of them for the world - well, most days anyway. ;)

I have been extremely blessed to have a second job that I love - matching dog lovers with their new canine companions.   Between deliveries of forgotten items to the school,  I get to go to my clients' homes and take pictures of the cutest (and sometimes orneriest) little puppies you will ever meet!  I get to visit with some fabulous people that truly love their dogs and puppies.  Sometimes, I still can't believe that I get paid to play with puppies!  Can you believe it?  Well, there is quite a bit more to it - uploading photos, creating and updating ads, corresponding with buyers and breeders, making flight plans,  following up with customers, etc., but I love all of it.  And, I don't have to miss ball games!  As long as I have a charge on my phone, my work just goes with me.  (I would now like to take this opportunity to apologize to buyers that had the great displeasure of listening to buzzers blaring or the crowd yelling in the background as they were trying to ask me questions about a cute little puppy they found online.)

Some of you may ask why these breeders pay me to sell their puppies.  It is not that they are not capable, nor is it that they want to remain anonymous.  You are welcome to talk to any of the breeders at any time.  Most of them have full-time jobs, whether it be caring for their dogs and puppies or a traditional 8-5 job,  and simply do not have time to reply to emails, answer questions, photograph, upload ads, book flights, etc.  I will admit that it is very time-consuming and is a full-time job in itself, but I truly love doing it.   So, I take care of all of that for them, and they can invest more time in the care and raising of quality puppies for you.
